A tyre warehouse resulting from an important urban regeneration intervention

This tyre warehouse intended for Pirelli, serving the industrial hub at Settimo Torinese (TO), is the result of an important urban regeneration intervention that entailed the redevelopment of the industrial area where the CEAT factory once stood, subjected to significant remediation interventions.

It’s a 50,000 sqm warehouse, LEED Gold certified, whose construction has allowed Pirelli to manage with greater effectiveness the flow of tyres produced at the adjacent production hub. The greater efficiency in logistics, in fact, has implied a reduction in costs and important benefits in terms of sustainability, such as the reduction of CO2 emissions and the generation of clean energy through the construction of a photovoltaic array of 1.2 MegaWatts.
