A new logistics building adjacent to an existing and active warehouse

The new logistics warehouse in Truccazzano (MI) is intended for Transmec Group, a historic transport, shipping and logistics company. With a surface area of ​​21,092 sqm, the building was built on a brownfield area, redeveloped through the demolition of three existing buildings, adjacent to another warehouse which remained in operation for the entire duration of the works.

The project, which pursues LEED Gold certification, is characterized by a strong attention to sustainability and landscape integration which is expressed through the sending of materials resulting from demolition for reuse, the presence of a 2,800 sqm roof garden and a precise selection of the façades and roofing colors, conceived in harmony with the surrounding natural context.
