A next-generation logistics platform near Milan

 

Prologis chose GSE Italia to design and build a new logistics platform in Paullo, 10 km east of Milan, operated by the logistics provider Number 1.

 

The Paullo DC2 logistics platform, with a surface of approximately 22,000 sqm, is located in a strategic area in the hinterland of Milan and hosts handling and storage activities. The structure is complemented by 635 sqm of offices and service spaces and 1,055 sqm of mezzanine for operations.

 

The building was born with a strong sustainability footprint, in fact it is entirely lit by LED technology with presence and light sensors and LEED Gold certified. It was also planned the installation of charging stations for electric vehicles and a photovoltaic plant on the roofing.
