A logistics hub for Prologis at Bologna Freight Village

The logistics warehouse called “DC19” is part of a larger project, entrusted to GSE Italia by Prologis, for the turnkey construction of a logistics hub in the municipality of Bentivoglio, at Bologna Freight Village.

The building, with a surface of ​​6,237 sqm, has been the first of two other buildings to be handed over and is intended for DB Schenker, a leading operator in the transport and logistics sector. The structure, built-to-suit, is integrated by operational offices, warehouse, service rooms and external areas for loading/unloading goods and for trucks circulation. The works, which started in September 2021, were completed in just 6 months.

In addition to being built in accordance with the ISO manual and BIM specifications, according to Prologis standard the building is LEED Silver certified.
